Friends - Play for Disabled Children are a registered charity supporting families in St Helens. The charity was set up in October 2012 by a small number of parents with disabled children.
We aim to bring Families of disabled children in St Helens & the surrounding area together to play through events, trips, days out and to provide a support network for those families to help prevent isolation.
"This is the face of a super happy little girl who for the first time ever has managed to ride a pedal bike. Because of her Cerebral Palsy /Hemiplegia she can't pedal using her left leg, but today that changed. This opportunity has come from the charity "Friends Play for Disabled Children" without these lovely ladies we would never have experienced this".
